Acupuncture is an integrative care modality that can be safely added into other treatment protocols, such as, prescription medications, chemotherapy, radiation therapy, and to help with post-surgical recovery-once cleared (e.g. IVDD/Disc Disease)
These are rare but can include bleeding at needle site, sleepiness during or after a treatment, and discomfort on needle insertion (minimized with food distraction).
Please call or email to discuss whether acupuncture may be a good option for your pet and to discuss a suggested treatment frequency and cost related questions.
